Lightning is Lethal; Thunder is Just Noise

“Thunderstruck” or “Ride the Lightning”? With a little more than a third of the season gone, it’s time to take a look at a breakdown of the BHFFC divisions. Parody be damned should be the slogan. The Lightning Division has flown out of the gates and have made their Thunder division rivals their whipping boys. Who knows how this will translate down the stretch or into the postseason, but right now its buy Lightning, sell Thunder. Here is a quick breakdown of the early season statistics. The Lightning Division holds a commanding 9-3 record vs. the Thunder Division. And even more telling of a statistic is that the top 6 scoring teams in the league are the 6 teams from the Lightning Division.
The Thunder Division as a whole has combined for 3,038 points vs. the Lightning Division’s grand total of 3,691. This is a difference of 653 total points. This means the Lightning Division vs. Thunder Division average score would be Lightning 102.5 / Thunder 84.4. That’s an 18 point margin of victory average for the Lightning Division. With 11 games remaining, there is still plenty of time for the Thunder Division to make up some ground, but they certainly have a lot of catching up to do.
